Recognition accuracy tips
- Crop close to the puzzle so stray text outside the grid is left out.
- Use a flat, high-contrast photo or a clean screenshot.
- Check repeated letters, shaded cells, and angled photos before solving.
- Switch to manual entry when a photo cannot separate the grid from nearby text.

Can I solve a puzzle without a photo?
Yes. Type or paste the grid rows and target words directly. The same eight-direction engine solves both image and manual entry.
What if recognition misses a few letters?
The recognized grid is only a draft. Edit any cell or target word, then re-run the solver on the corrected text.
Which directions are supported?
All eight directions: horizontal, vertical, and both diagonals, including words spelled in reverse.
Is this an AI word search solver?
The image step uses AI text recognition to read your grid in the browser. Solving itself is a deterministic eight-direction search, so the results are exact — and you can fix any letter the scan misreads before you solve.
